2010 SIGN UP


Our nephew, Patrick, joined us for the Iditarod sign up picnic. He is becoming quite a dog boy, unharnessing dogs and walking puppies. Too bad he is leaving next week!

Sue Allen also signed up and will be, once again, taking our young dogs on the trail. She trained many of them last year and they were so good, she decided she had to take them from Anchorage to Nome.

Sign up day was sunny and warm. The wine bottle is part of an Iditarod fund raiser. There should soon be a link on Iditarod.com on how you can order a bottle of Iditarod wine.

ALASKA AIRLINES TORCHLIGHT PARADE in SEATTLE

We will be headed to Seattle on JULY 25 to be part of the Alaska Airlines Torchlight Parade, a part of Seattle's Seafair Celebration. If you live anywhere in the area you might want to head into Seattle that day for a FunFest and 7:30 pm Parade. We are honored to be part of this exciting event.

NO TOURS, SATURDAY, JUNE 27

There will be no tours this Satuday. Martin will be signing up for his 27th Iditarod, 25 in a row ~ the most consecutive finishes of any musher.

There is a picnic with games at Iditarod Headquarters on Knik Goose Bay Road as many mushers will be stopping in to sign up for the 2010 Iditarod.
