2 DAYS on the TUNDRA, Nome AK

Kathy spent two days last week in Nome picking blueberries with Joy Berger and Jenny Partch and kids. Nothing more peaceful than sitting out on the tundra all day picking berries!
Blueberries everywhere.
Came home and made 2 of Joy's delicious no cook blueberry pies.

MARTIN to go to NORWAY

Martin has been invited to speak at the annual HAKADAL SEMINAR near Oslo, Norway on September 5 & 6. He plans to show video of "walking" 20 adult dogs off leash and will discuss efficiencies in kennel operations as well as racing philosophy. He also gets to visit Magnus' family, while Magnus is here in Alaska helping with the kennel once again.

HAPPY TRAILS as an EVENT VENUE

The event included a dinner catered by Kincaid Grill and a live band. All arrangements were made by Char McClelland. The event accommodated 60 guests who arrived via motorcoach. Martin gave his tour information and the dogs provided the evening's entertainment.
