Well I think we are trimming the team down for speed. Only the dogs that are 100% sound and fast will go on from here.

Reports indicate that the trail from Unalakleet to Shaktoolik is the worst the locals have ever seen it - bare ground over the Blueberry Hills.

This is the time in every race where I just want it to be over!

We'll hope your spirits do their work last night to help the team through what will amount to one of most crucial legs of the race.
